We ski most days during the season! Members are welcome to join the outings or just use the Group to find out where and when the snow is best.
We don’t cater to beginners, and most outings assume you are comfortable on all red runs, but we do organise occasional outings for those who prefer to ski blue runs.
Ski touring requires reasonable skill as on off-piste skier, and a measure of fitness. You cannot use alpine downhill equipment, you need specialist skis and ski boots. To go into the backcountry, you need to carry a shovel and probe, and be wearing an avalanche transceiver.
Active walk following a set of marks and typically lasts about 60-90 minutes, usually followed by a picnic.
