Welcome to the Club

Everyone is welcome to join the Club, provided they agree to promote friendship between the more than 50 nationalities represented in our membership, to pay the membership fees and to comply with the rules and statutes of the Club.

English is our common language, the native tongue of about one‑third of our members, but you will hear French, Catalan, Spanish, German, Dutch and many other languages at our events. Our board of directors represents five nationalities and, like our activity group leaders and volunteers, works entirely on a voluntary basis. We support our members to integrate into Andorran life, learn about the country, and to take advantage of all it has to offer. We are non‑political and do not tolerate discrimination of any kind.

Our guiding principles are simple:
**Be friendly. Be helpful. Be active.**

Connecting People, Creating Community

Why Join?

The principal benefit of membership is to take part in our many activities, to join us at social events and on excursions, to attend our programme of talks, classes and courses, to take part in Andorran life and to support local charities. Note – there is a small charge for some of these activities, typically €5 or less.

Activities

Our most popular activity groups, not surprisingly given Andorra’s glorious mountain scenery, are the walking and skiing groups and the 4×4 Explorers, but we cater to many interests. Currently there are over 20 activity groups – from Bridge to Shooting, from Jam Music to Finance and from Golf to E-mountain biking.

Social Events

Our weekly Friday evening drinks and alternate‑Sunday French breakfasts each regularly attract over 60 people. We also host quiz nights, cabaret evenings, theatre visits and themed parties throughout the year.

Excursions

Recent outings beyond Andorra include guided visits to the Penelles wall‑painting festival in Lleida province, winery visits in Spain and France, apple picking in Mirepoix, and our bespoke Three Country Tour of France, Spain and Andorra. We regularly pop over the Spanish border to visit the Cathedral of La Seu or to France to visit the Castle of Foix.

Charitable Work

We raise funds for local charities such as the Fundació Privada Tutelar, Hi Arribarem and Associació Pels Animals del Pirineu. We provided a large grant to the government during the Covid-19 crisis and provide ongoing support to Ukrainian refugees in Andorra.

Courses, classes and talks

We have a wide breadth and depth of professional experience within the club: lawyers, doctors, economists, accountants, journalists, diplomats, professional athletes and nutritionists, many of whom generously share their expertise with other club members, both formally and informally.

There have been numerous series of classes in Catalan and Spanish and each year we hold a highly rated and well-attended two week investment course. We introduce new classes on a regular basis, such as yoga and dance.
